SAN FRANCISCO Bones Hyland didn’t want to admit that the playoff debut felt a bit different.

Hyland was unsure if he would experience the same nerves that Austin Rivers, a veteran guard, had to deal with before his playoff debut many years ago. Hyland remained in his place as the Nuggets prepared to face Monday’s Game 2.

Hyland said that it felt just like a normal match, despite the loud crowd. It was a lot more fun than I expected, but I wanted to leave with a win.

Denver Nuggets are considering tweaks to both ends in preparation for Game 2 against Golden State

Michael Malone, Nuggets coach thought that having the debut in the history could only be viewed as a positive.

Malone stated that you can’t duplicate that experience so it will only aid in his development.

Hyland’s playoff debut ended with 10 points, six in the final quarter. It took just over 17 minutes. He made 4 out of 10 shots from the field, and 2 out of 7 attempts from 3-point distance with three assists and two rebound.

Denver Nuggets’ big night drowns Jordan Poole in Game 1.

He was quick when he went after the basket. He put his head down, and he got to the rim for a few layups. Malone stated that quick contested pull-up 3-s or mid-range shots are not what we want. This is because you’re speeding up a team who wants to play fast. That can lead to disaster in this place. Last night we saw it happen, but Bones will bounce right back.

The debut of the rookies was further complicated when Golden States decided to match Hylands’ minutes with Gary Payton II, who has a different defensive reputation than his dad but still has the ability take players out their rhythm.

Strong, physical, great defensive player. Malone said that Bones have a great learning opportunity. He needs to realize that it is OK to not come down and take the first shot. Sometimes you need to get off the ball and run your team. Once we get into an offense, the ball will find us back. That was something I felt was his problem last night.

Hyland stated that it was not surprising to spend so much time matched-up with the Payton, and took it as a compliment that Golden State spent time preparing him.

I knew going into the game that they were trying to take my away. Hyland stated that I have to go back to film and look at how I can make tomorrow’s game easier for me. He’s a great defender. However, I don’t respect anybody when I go out there. I just go out there and play my own game.

Woody Paige: Worrying about the Nuggets’ postseason loss to Golden State in Game 1

Hylands’s best game has been a spark for a bench unit which has struggled to be consistent over the course of the season. Golden State outscored Denver’s bench by 40-33 in Game 1. 16 Warriors second-unit points were scored by Stephen Curry. Denver’s reserves had the best production, but Hylands’s production was superior to that of Golden State. However, hell looks better in his second playoff game and his mindset remains the same.

I am always drawn to the bright lights but, at the end, I want to win. Hyland stated that I know I can be better and that our team could do better going forward.

I believe that no one can stop me or stay in front of my, so I’m just going to be Bizzy.
