Pakistan is a fertile ground for terror; perpetrators have support from India at UN

Rajesh Parihar said Monday, February 14: “The growth in extremist ideology in Pakistan’s neighboring state (Pakistan),is bolstered through their patronage by radical outfits, so the state hasprovided an environment for the growth and terror.”

Parihar recalled the harrowing Pulwama terror attack, in which India lost 40 brave security personnel. He noted that the perpetrators, facilitators, and financiers of these attacks still enjoy Statesupport and hospitality, but they are still free to roam.

The horrors of 2008Mumbaiterror attack and 2016Pathankotterror attacks, as well as the 2019Pulwamaterrorist attack, were witnessed around the globe. Parihar stated that we all know the origins of these attacks.

India is the epicenter of terror. It’s high time that the world wakes up to this alarm.

India, speaking at UN on the Work of CTED with South-East Asia Member States pursuant to SC resolution2395, detailed Pakistan’s persistent attempts to push terror against Indian soil. He also pointed out how unmanned aerial platforms such as drones were being used to cross-border trafficking of arms and drugs.

“The patronage of radical outfits in our neighboring state has aided the growth of extremist ideology.” Rajesh Parihar said that the State had allowed radicalism and communist ideology to be mainstreamed in the region.

“This cannot be done without the support and connivance of the State agencies that control the territory.”
He also said, “Where are these terrorists operating?”

Parihar stated that India is ”fully committed” to bringing to justice the perpetratorsof these terror attacks on its territory. India sent a message to international community by stating that it was high time for the world to also call upon this epicentreof terror state to take effective and credible, verifiable and irreversible action against terror outfits operating in its territory.

“It’s equally important to identify the terrorist plotters and not allow them to mislead the international communities by presenting themselves as victims. The UN Counsellor said that we must call their bluffs and hold them accountable for their actions.
