STATEN ISLAND (N.Y.) Tuesday saw two dozen students and teachers attend a Billion Oyster project training session at Susan Wagner High School. This was a revival of an effort that was lost in the midst of the coronavirus (19 COVID-19), pandemic.

The workshop was attended by teachers and students from the high-school, as well as educators from PS 44 in Mariners Harbor, New York City and other New York City schools. It taught them how to create a tank-sized habitat which will soon be home to oysters.
