The head of the Portland agency tasked with tackling climate change and managing a massive clean energy program that’s both Cash-strapped and in need of attentionHe accepted a six figure severance in order to leave the agency.

Andrea Durbin, director of the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability announced her impending departure Tuesday in a joint declaration with Commissioner Carmen Rubio. Rubio assumed control of the department last January.
