FOLSOM, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PowerSchool(NYSE: PWSC), North America’s largest provider of cloud-based K-12 education software, today announced the publication its inaugural Environmental, Social and Governance ReportThe report details its progress on key ESG projects, its approach to building more sustainable futures, and its unwavering focus upon improving student outcomes.

The report is the culmination of many years of PowerSchool’s ESG efforts. It highlights many milestones that were reached in 2021, which have increased social impact and focused on employee diversity.

  • The PowerSchool Education Fund has disbursed over $820k to address the national teacher shortage, diversity gap, and support equitable access to technology and resources.
  • DonorsChoose funded 332 classroom projects for 231 teachers at 108 schools. This funding will help to complete hundreds of projects for schools in low-income communities.
  • Promoting gender equality, with more than 41% of PowerSchools’ total workforce being women and 44% in management positions in the US.
  • Eight employee resource groups (ERGs), promoting diversity in the workforce, support the inclusion of employees from different backgrounds.
