NEW DELHI: Monday saw the start of university prelims for the National Environment Youth Parliament 2022. Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi, a consortium of universities across the country, is organizing the National Environment Youth Parliament 2022 Nurturing Environment Leaderships. This event aims to raise awareness among youth about environmental issues.
Prof Neharika Vohra, Vice-Chancellor of DSEU, stated that this is the first national competition where students will represent the university. We are extremely happy with the application response for the university prelims.Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Snigdha Pattanik congratulated all 119 shortlisted participants for Round No. 2 of the prelims were for the university. In order to preserve the environment, we must include the future generations. She stated that you are the ones that will make the environment more sustainable.
The National Environment Youth Parliament 2022 will be held at three levels: the university, regional/zonal, and national. At the university level the top eight winners from the group discussions round will represent their universities at Kurukshetra University’s regional round on January 23, 2022.
