Rollins buys UK-based NBC Environment – PCT

GREENSBORO, N.C. –Syngenta The company announced the appointment of a new technical service manager, marketing communications lead, and market manager in its Professional Pest Management (PPM). These individuals have years of industry and professional experience that will be a great asset to Syngenta’s mission of living a pest-free life.

Tim HusenHe has been appointed the new PPM technical services manager for the Midwest and Northeast. He will be responsible for supporting Syngenta’s customers and distribution network, as well providing technical support and training to PPM sales and marketing staffs. He will also collaborate with industry consultants and universities to develop technical protocols for trial work.

Husen is a long-standing veteran of the pest management business. He was most recently a technical services representative for a manufacturer. He also served as a Rollins manager of technical services and Waltham Pest Services’ technical training and quality control manager. He holds a bachelor of biology degree as well as a master of sciences and doctorate in Entomology degrees from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.

We are delighted that Tim has joined the technical services team at Syngenta Professional Solution in North America, said Mark Coffelt. His industry knowledge, dedication to solving tough pest problems, will be crucial in providing outstanding technical support for our customers.

Chris GigleySyngenta has appointed him as the new lead for marketing communications for PPM. He brings 25 years of experience in marketing and communications to the role. He will be responsible for all marketing and communications activities for the company, and play a key role developing communication strategies for Syngenta programs and products.

Gigley is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of science degree in journalism. He also holds several certifications for social media marketing. He was most recently the marketing manager at Thermaco, Inc. and previously managed communication and marketing teams at OT Sports.

Marshall Gaster, Syngenta’s head of marketing, stated that Chris is a great addition to our PPM team. He has a strong background in communication and marketing, so he is well-suited to help us tell the story and connect with our customers.

Kristen OakleyShe has been promoted to Syngenta’s market manager for PPM. She will be responsible for pricing, promotion, and strategic forecasting of the Syngenta pest management portfolio.

Oakley joined Syngenta back in 2009 and served in many roles before she was promoted to PPM’s marketing communications lead in 2013. Oakley utilized her communications skills to manage many successful communications efforts for Syngenta products. These included the PestPartners 365 Program, Demand CS, and Tandem insecticide. She received a bachelor of science in biology from Clemson’s Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business.

Kristen has been an integral part of our PPM marketing department, helping to grow and expand our Syngenta solutions through her creativity and thought leadership. Dave Ravel is the North American head of sales for Syngenta Professional Solution. We are excited to see what innovative approaches Kristen will bring to the PPM team on her next adventure.
