Brent Benishek is responsible for loading their latest brew onto the conveyer belt and packing machine every day. But he would never have it any other manner. Saltwater Brewery has been a place where he’s found a love for beer and a career.

But this wasn’t always his daily routine. Before coming to Saltwater Brewery, Benishek worked in IT, owning his own small business. He had to close his business after the COVID-19 pandemic, which hit like many small businesses.

He didn’t let that stop him from pursuing a new career. Since he knew the hiring manager and once worked as a bartender, he was hired at Saltwater Brewery, not just to pour beers, but to run day-to-day operations as manager. He is able to work behind the scenes for all the great projects that the brewery is pursuing.

Saltwater Brewery invented an eco-friendly way to package its beers six years ago. The packaging is completely biodegradable and safe enough for all sea life six pack holders.

Initiatives like that truly give employees like Benishek a reason to love where he works.
