In official newsroom post, Samsung Electronics America has won the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Awards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Notably, it is Samsung’s second Partner of the Year Award for Energy Management and its ninth Sustained Excellence Award for Product Brand Owner.
Besides this, back in March 2022, Samsung also won two accolades from the US EPA for its efforts toward continuous recycling of e-waste and innovation in Sustainable Materials Management (SMM) products. All these awards show Samsung’s commitment to energy efficiency methods that it implements in its products and operations.
America’s EPA ENERGY STAR program promotes saving both energy and money, and also works towards saving the climate. Annually, ENERGY STAR awards recognize businesses and organizations for their contributions toward energy-efficient products and climate-friendly strategies to provide substantial energy savings in buildings.
In line with this, Mark Newton, Head of Corporate Sustainability for Samsung Electronics America, said, “We’re proud to promote the EPA ENERGY STAR program and are thrilled to be recognized for our leadership in delivering sustainable innovations to our customers and supporting a clean and efficient energy economy in our operations.”
