KATONAH (NY) The Mount Kisco Stop & Shop gives shoppers the opportunity to support the Katonah Museum of Art while also helping the environment.
The Katonah Museum of Art will be benefitting from Stop & Shop’s March community bag program. The museum will receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale of reusable bags at the Mount Kisco Stop & Shop.
Every $2.50 reusable Community Bag sold helps a local charity. Every month, a different non-profit organization is chosen to benefit from the sale these special reusable Community Bags at each Stop & Shop location. The program was launched in 2019. Since then, donations have been made to support groups that focus on education, civic, well-being, hunger relief, and military/veteran organizations.
Mount Kisco Stop & Shop chose the Katonah Museum of Art to be the March beneficiary. For every $2.50 community bag purchased at the Mount Kisco Stop & Shop during the month, the museum will receive $1.
