Hammerspace, Seagate Come Together to Extend Global Data Environments with Lyve Cloud and Exos CORVAULT

Hammerspace announced a technology collaboration between Seagate Technology and Seagate Lyve Cloud to provide automated data orchestration and unified access across Seagates Lyve Cloud, Exos CORVAULT. Customers will be able to combine the advantages of Seagates S3-compatible cloud storage-asa-service platform with their ability to bring together all edge, distributed, and cloud data into one resource within a Global Data Environment.

Hammerspace solves today’s data accessibility issues for decentralized applications and users. Hammerspace makes it easy and safe to access data storage, management, or utilization of data services across the multisite hybrid cloud.

According to experts, organizations are trying to capture, monetize and retain ever-growing quantities of mass data. Customers can work with Hammerspace to create a data environment that spans datacenters and Lyve Cloud, without worrying about the economics of data movement. Lyve Cloud does not charge for data ingress or egress. This makes it a great complement to Hammerspace’s automated data orchestration capabilities.

Lyve Cloud provides data privacy, high performance and no API charges. Customers can also egress fees and pay no fees. This allows them to retain full control over their data and lowers the total cost of ownership (TCO). The storage-only cloud has been praised for its simplicity and predictability. It is trusted worldwide by customers and partners to harness the flow global data and accelerate digital transformation.
