BLOOMINGTON – A woman claiming she was a State Farm worker has joined forces with Attorney Ben Crump to file a lawsuit against State Farm. She claims she was fired for complaining about the company’s culture of racism and discrimination that permeated her entire time at State Farm.
Shashi Mandhyan said that she was constantly confronted by the company’s culture, which included racism, discrimination, and retaliation throughout her tenure.
She also claims that she was harassed, abused and harmed by her supervisor in the bank’s originations department.
Mandhyan said she was an employee for 19 years when she was terminated.
She is requesting a jury trial.
