Security Review of New Applications in Business Environment

To avoid security risks and compatibility issues, new applications are not often introduced to our business environment.

How do I check if the software is secure?

I am currently installing it on a test computer and running a Nessus scanner, which I feel will give me a false sense security.

Edit: Although I understand that I am supposed to provide the OS, this is more of an open question for all OS. Windows 10/11 Pro if I have to choose.

Changed from Bus Apps, to Gen Security – Hamluis.
