Steps for clean, healthy environment enumerated – Latest News – The Nation

LAHORE – The Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA) also known as the Central Business District (CBD) Punjab has played an important role in making the environment nature friendly, that is why most of the initiatives taken by CBD Punjab are eco-friendly. CBD House Punjab hosted Earth Day celebrations by the Team of CBD Punjab. They turned off all lights and air conditioners in CBD Punjab’s house for 60 minutes to conserve energy and reduce the amount of CFC gasses that are released into the atmosphere.

The CBD Punjab has always taken active steps to ensure a healthy environment for all and to protect nature as much as possible.

The CBD Punjab has previously planted over 5,000 trees, and moved many trees to new locations instead of having them removed during construction of the parking plaza. Mohammad Omer, Executive director Commercial LCBDDA stated that protecting the environment and helping mother earth is everyone’s core responsibility.

CBD Punjab takes eco-friendly measures in all of its development and construction projects. CBD Punjab has committed itself to contribute in a dynamic way to the preservation and improvement of the environment.

I will ask everyone to do little things like tree planting, energy saving, minimising plastic usage, and recycling to make our environment more breathable and green for future generations.

CBD Punjab is actively preserving the environment by promoting the use of LNG-based power plants, marking 100 percent tree growth, or using treated and filtered wastewater water for horticulture.
