As in Biblical times, it is important to recognize the sanctity and value of life. We might be able to reexamine what it means and take the necessary actions to protect the sanctity life.

Is it righteous for humans to insist on the growth of other species when they are rapidly dying? Is it righteous for us to insist on multiplicating when we have stretched housing resources and are concerned about the number of people who will move in, as well as those who are homeless? We are putting our foot in the woods, causing fires. When this thins water, is it righteous?

Is the anti-abortion movement able to save lives or increase the death rate of those already born?
