Thieves Cause Diesel Spill in South Africa, Damaging Environment

Transnet SOC Ltd. reported that the spillage occurred due to tampering of a block valve chamber. It was discovered on Wednesday morning. The company stated that environmental teams were working to contain the diesel fuel contamination that leaked into the Meul River. However, they did not specify how much.
