Unreal Engine 5 Path Tracing Daniel Martinger-1

Daniel MartingerThe Outsiders’ Prop/Environment artist, Jeremy, has shared screenshots and a video of an Unreal Engine 5 environment that will blow your mind. These shots and video show one of the most highly detailed cellars we’ve ever seen, using UE5’s full path tracing capabilities.

The visuals here are truly amazing. Everything, from materials to lighting, looks as realistic as it can be. Only some lighting artifacts can mask the engine’s in-engine nature.

Now I don’t expect any current-gen game to look anything like that. This is full path tracing. Thankfully, the artist is also working on a version that takes advantage of UE5’s Lumen. So, theoretically, we’ll be getting this kind of graphics only when next-gen consoles come out (Playstation 6).

The following videos are also a great example of Unreal Engine. The Unreal Engine 5 Superman Fan Tech Demo is a must-see. Two cool videos showThe Sims 5andDragon age: Inquisition. Lets also not forget these coolStar Wars KOTORandCounter-Strike Global Offensivefan remakes. Finally, here’s a Half-Life 2 Fan Remake. Also, anOblivion fan remake, aSilent Hill fan remake, aWorld of Warcraft remake and a Skyrim remake.

Enjoy!
