- The bullishness of demand by Carriers remained well above historical averages during 4Q, and returned to the level seen in 1Q21.
- About 71% of respondents anticipate load growth over the next six-months, up from 62% during the 3Q and 16 percentage point above the 4Q average.
- Flatbed is the most optimistic (76% anticipate higher volume) in an environment of increased infrastructure spending, which comes on top a strong housing sector. This was followed by dry van carriers (70%), who cited restocking, consumer resilience, and as the principal drivers.
