Tunisia: 50 Mn Euros for Environmental Transition from EU – Environment

(ANSAmed). TUNIS, March 30, 2013. The head of the Tunisian
government, Najla Boden, and the European Commissioner
Oliver Varhelyi, chaired the neighborhood and enlargement strategies
The ceremony for the signing of an agreement to provide fifty
Millions of euros in the “EU program for support”
Tunisia’s environmental transition

Moncef is the minister for education and scientific research.
Boukthir announced the signing of an agreement.
Part of the partnership between Tunisia, the European Union
Concerning the European Research and Innovation Project
‘Horizon Europe’ emphasizes the importance of this event.
Tunisia is now an integral member of the European Space
Research with the same privileges enjoyed in European countries.

Tunisia’s scientific results
The country was able to take part in this vast research project through its research
Program, which will last until 2027 and receive funding of 95.5 million
euros. Economy Minister Samir Saïd stressed the importance of
Diversifying the areas of partnership between Tunisia &
European Union in economic, financial and developmental matters
fields.(ANSAmed).
