The honorees are chosen for their contributions to environmental protection, innovation and partnership, as well as their consideration of climate change and sustainability.
A crucial step towards Vicinity EngagementVicinity, a biogenic fuel derived from vegetable oil that was collected from Philadelphia’s restaurants or food service businesses, has incorporated LR100 into their fuel mix in order to reach net zero carbon emissions. LR100 is a clean fuel source which will reduce nitrogen oxides and particulate matters by 50% and sulfur dioxide emissions almost by 99%.
