Zimbabwe: Zim to Take Part In Environment Assembly

At the fifth United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA), which will be held in Kenya today, Zimbabwe will join other member states.

The UNEA brings together representatives from the 193 UN member states, businesses, civil society, and other stakeholders to discuss policies to address the most pressing environmental issues in the world.

This year’s session has the theme “Strengthening Activities for Nature to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals”.

The Environmental Management Agency (EMA), which released a statement, said that it would be represented by Mangaliso Nadlovu, Minister for Environment, Climate and Tourism, and other senior government officials.
