It will be an exciting ride as the two riders set off on a 54-day journey covering 14,216 kms (kms) on heavy duty electric motorcycles made in India. They will also travel the borders of India.
This is more than an adventure trip. The duo will meet with youth at colleges to share their passion for entrepreneurship and sustainability.

There are many incentives from the central and state governments, plenty of high-quality money to chase great ideas and founders, and numerous incubators and accelerators throughout the country that provide the necessary infrastructure and resources for growth.

The journey begins February 4, 2022From Bengaluru, on electric motorbikes Mantis Orxa EnergiesIt took them literally across the country, covering 14,216 km. The team will complete the journey and return to Bangalore by the 29th.ThMarch
Upon successful completion, the journey would beat the current World Record of the longest journey by electric motorcycle of 12,379 km, which was achieved by Italian friends Nicola ColomboAnd Valerio Fumagalli The rider traveled through 11 countries, starting in Shanghai in China and ending in Milan in Italy. This was between June 10 and July 23 2013.
Going back to John and Gautam’s goal, Charzer, a network that provides electric vehicle (EV), charging stations, SpareIT service provider network and PotHoleRaja are the other key partners on the Mantis. Their mission is fix potholes while raising awareness about road safety. This project also includes Yourstory, a top digital media platform in the country.
These two riders will interact with students at various colleges along the route and spark their enthusiasm for entrepreneurship. The duo, having seen many changes in the corporate world and being part of the Brigade Reap startup accelerator, understands the path youth in India must take.
John and Gautam see the positive changes brought about by technology. This along with the innovation of bright young minds will surely bring more changes to our country as a whole.

This is the perfect time to foster entrepreneurship in the youth of the country. John and Gautam will meet with students from 50 colleges during this trip, so they are best positioned to pass on their knowledge and help them along the way.
The difficult journey will also serve to convey another important message about the crisis that faces every country in the world. This is the threat of an ecological disaster, with Fossil fuel driven transportation being a key contributor. Alternative, more sustainable modes of transportation can be used to reduce environmental risks.
John and Gautam will be demonstrating the importance of eco sustainability by using clean fuel in their electric motorbikes.

India’s adoption of electric vehicles powered by batteries is fraught with problems like range anxiety, availability of charging infrastructure, spares and on-road service stations. Three EV startups in Karnataka have teamed up to create the world’s 1stCollaboration in the EV space for convincing customers in India about electric. While dispelling many apprehensions people have about electric vehicles. These concerns could relate to durability, ruggedness, performance issues, etc. In addition to the previously mentioned concerns. All of these issues will be addressed as the Electric bikes travel this long and difficult journey. These bikes can be powered by charging networks. As well as the serviceability of EVs throughout the country, thanks to their world-record attempting journey. Riders will have to endure the harsh desert terrains and extreme temperatures.
The startups and the 2 riders will be funding the entire trip. Other companies in Bangalore have supported the rider’s journey, including Amace Solutions, a leading 3D printing company, Khivraj Motors, who provided a support vehicle to transport spare batteries, charging stations, and other equipment, and 6K IOM, a top bike accessory company, which outfitted them with safety riding and communication gear.
Many hotels also offer complimentary stays to the crew, which is a great way to celebrate our country’s electrifying achievements.
