MONTPELIER (Vt.) T.J. Donovan, Vermont Attorney General, wants to know what Vermont’s sixth and fifth graders think about environmental problems.
Donovan announced Monday that he would host the second Earth Day Essay Challenge. It will run from February 14 to April 1.
Fifth and sixth graders are encouraged and encouraged to express themselves creatively and write about Earth Day and Vermont’s environment.
60 submissions were received from the state last year.
Donovan released a statement saying that the essays from last year have reminded her of how much young Vermonters care for the environment. We heard the students’ desire to protect Vermont’s forests and wildlife, clean air and clean water.
All submissions will be uploaded to the Attorney Generals Offices site on Earth Day 2022 (April 22). All essays posted will include the first name of the participant, as well as their grade and school.
If the student wishes to receive feedback, members of the Attorney Generals Environmental Protection Division read all essays.
