CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas Spring Break is just around the corner for Corpus Christi Independent Schools District and Calallen ISD. Now is the time to make plans for students.
The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department has opened registration for Spring Break ‘Vacation Station Camps’.
“This camp is for boys and daughters between the ages of 5 and 13. Campers will have fun and constructive activities throughout the day, including arts and crafts, sports and gaming tournaments. The camp caters to the needs of working parents. Vacation Station camps can be offered during school breaks in safe and supervised environments with participating school districts,” said the CC Parks and Rec Department.
The organizers say that morning and afternoon snacks will provided daily. Campers are required to bring their own lunch. To protect campers who may be allergic to peanut products, the CC Parks and Rec Department has banned all peanut products.
The ‘Vacation Station’ camps are open Monday through Friday, February 14-18, at their two locations.
Officials at the city have announced that online registration will open Monday February 21st at 9:00 a.m. and close Monday March 7th at 5:00 pm. Children can attend camp for one, two, or all days.

These are the locations for the two camps:
- Corpus Christi ISD camp costs $30 per child per night. The camp will take place at Galvan Elementary school, located at 3126 Masterson Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
- Calallen ISD camp will cost $20 per child per school day at West Intermediate School. 4030 County Road 69, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410.
