Kirsty Boraski, MD has been appointed Director of the Learning Environment for Undergraduate Medicine Education. Borawski will be responsible for managing all learning environment reports related to Undergraduate Medical Education. She will take up her new position on June 1st.
Kirsty Brawski, MD is an associate professor in the Department of Urology. She has been appointed Director of the Learning Environment for Undergraduate Medical Education. Borawski, along with Alice Chuang, MD will be working to address Undergraduate Medical Education’s learning environment concerns.
Borawski will also help to establish synergy within the School of Medicine in order to create a central space for learning environment training, resolution and assessment.
Borawski obtained her medical degree from Albany Medical College. She also completed her Urologic residency in Duke University. Borawski stayed at Duke University to finish a fellowship in Reconstructive Urology. In 2010, Borawski began her UNC School of Medicine career as an assistant professor for Division of Urology. She is now a Clinical Associate professor in the Department of Urology.
Borawski is also involved at a number of professional associations and is an active member of Academy of Educators. In 2021, she was awarded with the Craver Medical Students Teaching Award.
