New Delhi: Om Birla, Lok Sabha Speaker, suggested Saturday that the environment be kept safe and that natural resources are not misused.
Birla called for the creation of innovative ways to protect the environment, speaking at the Parliamentary Research and Training Institute programme held at the Parliament premises. Birla noted that the environment is a critical issue for the world. He also said that global warming is a major problem not only in India but around the world. Climate change is a key issue since it affects many areas of human life.
Climate change is affecting human life. Climate change has a significant impact on our economic health as well as many other sectors. The ecosystem is affected by climate change, and this has a significant impact on society, economy, and health. Birla said that both the central and state governments take steps to combat environmental changes.
Birla stated that people made the decision to fight for environmental protection in the Paris agreement. He stated that the Paris agreement made it clear that the developed countries had pledged to save the world and protect the environment while also supporting the developing nations.
He added, “Environment has always played a part in our lives as we would worship trees and sun, Earth, water, and the earth.”
He also suggested that “our young generation should work towards it.” This is your responsibility at a time we are celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Birla cited an example from the freedom struggle period and said that the “freedom fighters” did not know if they would be granted any post after the country is freed.
Birla said, “So, now is the time when it’s necessary to fight to save our environment.”
