After COVID Pauses Legal Departments Tech Spend Flourishes In Uncertain Environment

In 2022, corporate legal departments are expected spend a significant amount of their tech budgets on ebilling, contracts, and matter management tools. COVID-19 has shown that tech budgets can be affected by global events. Industry observers still believe that high inflation, the Great Rectification and the upcoming global financial crisis will have an impact on tech budgets. Ukraine-Russia warTech spending has not been a boon to in-house legal departments.

Unsurprisingly, corporate legal department continue to invest in ebilling and matter management technology to increase productivity, stated Jason Winmill, a managing Partner at Argopoint, where he advises corporate law departments on their management matters.
