Agriculture & environment exhibition sees strong GCC participation

Doha: The 9th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition, (AgriteQ), and the 3rd Qatar International Environmental Exhibition, (EnviroteQ), are seeing increased participation from GCC countries.

The exhibition will be on display at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from March 14 to 14.

In a statement, the Ministry of Municipality stated that exhibitors as well as those who are taking part in related events are included in the list of participants. Participants praised the exhibition, describing that it was a meeting place for farmers and producers, stakeholders, producers companies, consumers, and providing opportunities to further strengthen their deep relationships.

Participants from the GCC said that the exhibition also serves as a platform to increase trade among the GCC members.

Abdullah Al Shuraim, a representative from a Saudi company, stated that his participation in the exhibition stems from the company’s eagerness to take part in the most important international exhibitions such as the Qatar International Agricultural and Environmental Exhibition.

He said that the exhibition is important at the international level because it offers a lot of opportunities for participants, such as exchanging expertise and sharing experiences, and exploring the latest technologies in the agriculture and environment sectors.

Al Shuraim indicated that his company exports vegetable and fruit products to the Gulf. He stated that Qatar is one of the most promising nations for international and regional companies.

Masooma Al Qattan represented a Kuwaiti company at this exhibition. She expressed her joy to be there and praised the organization and the opportunities the exhibition offers companies to promote their products.

She stressed the importance of interactions between exhibitors, investors, and visitors in supporting Qatar’s promising future and its dynamic directions.

Sultan Muslim, a representative from an Omani company, stated that the exhibition strengthens communication and opens up greater horizons to trade and investment ties among the countries of the region and beyond.

He stated that the exhibition helps countries to collaborate in making future plans and finding sustainable solutions to the most pressing global problems of the moment, including those relating to economics and the environment.

Muslim stated that the exhibition will allow visitors to see a wide variety of agricultural techniques and machinery.

Fahd Al Zamiil, a Saudi company, said that the exhibition is a platform to explore new horizons in the agricultural sector. It is the backbone to food security and is therefore at the forefront of strategic priorities for self-sufficiency.

He added that the exhibition provides an opportunity to present innovative solutions to environmental problems in agriculture and the environment.
Muhammad Abdullah Al Kindi was a participant and said that the exhibition attracted exhibitors from many countries because it offers an interactive platform to showcase the latest products, technologies, and solutions for agricultural and environmental challenges.

We have high hopes and confidence in this exhibition. It will be a success beyond our expectations.

Al Kindi stated that the exhibition was an opportunity to bring together decision makers, pioneers of agricultural and environmental sectors, and stakeholders from all over region under one roof. To share experiences and ideas, and to develop recommendations and effective solutions to encourage optimal investment in agricultural projects, and livestock production.
