Beware of drivers: Environment Canada issues winter weather travel advisor

Environment Canada issued a Monday winter travel advisory.

According to the agency, anywhere from 5-10 cm of snow could fall in the region, leading to poor visibility and slick roads.

The advisory covers London-Middlesex and Elgin as well as Oxford-Brant, Elgin, Oxford, Sarnia, Lambton, Norfolk, and Elgin.

Huron, Perth and Grey-Bruce have snow squall alerts.

The snow is expected not to melt after midnight.
