Boards and Advisory Committees

Different groups advise the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy regarding policy and programmatic issues. These groups are a forum where stakeholders can provide feedback and advice for EGLE. They are often mandated through legislation or executive order. For advice from stakeholders, the department also creates boards and workgroups, especially in relation to its rule-making power.
