California’s toxic business environment is not going to be changed by Disney hiring them for jobs.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s policies have made California toxic for residents and businesses. However, he apparently still hasn’t gotten the memo.

Disney has been at the center of controversy as liberals complain about Florida’s law that requires schools to notify parents about children’s mental health issues and prohibits instruction on sexual orientation for very young kids. Newsom used this opportunity to request that Disney relocate jobs to California, as California is the home of Disneys employees.

Newsom likely refers to Disneys decision in what year to move 2,000 jobs to Florida from California. Forbes So calledUnprecedented uprooting. Businesses are not the only ones fleeing California in search of better pastures. Newsom should be aware that California’s Democratic Party is the problem if he wants to chase Florida’s success. California has become an increasingly difficult place to do business in California, and it will only get worse as businesses leave.

Recent StudyFrom January 2018 to June 2021, 265 companies had relocated their headquarters from California. This is likely to be an undercount, according to the authors of the study. The trend also shows that more businesses will relocate in 2021, despite California’s economic reopening.

California is the eighth-highest in the country Corporate tax rate. It is the most regulated state in America, with more than DoubleThe national average number of regulations. Companies don’t care what California and Newsom claim to care about. This is especially true for Disney, who has a significant relationship Chinas genocidal regime. Businesses want to be able to make money, and not have to worry so much about bureaucracy. Florida offers that, while California continues to be more burdensome.

Newsom’s pride is evidently hurt by the successes in Florida and Texas. This was obvious when he faced last-year’s recall election. But he and his party did it. California is not going to be more appealing to businesses if it panders to the phony liberal politics that Disney advocates.

California’s governor has no excuse to be asking companies for jobs back, considering its population and climate. California Democrats and Newsom have driven them away. California is reaping the fruits of years of Democratic governance. Newsom isn’t stupid, however he is too stubborn not to do something about it.
