Cans and Boxes Transformed for Lessons about the Environment – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Although Earth Month is over, some preschoolers in Dallas celebrate something positive that happened while learning about protecting the planet.

Primrose School of Prestonwood students built robots from recycled materials in order to learn conservation lessons.

To emphasize the importance of recycling, reducing, reusing, or recycling, robots were made from cans, boxes, and paper towel rolls.

The robots were then sold and raised nearly $2,000 dollars for the benefit of the victims. Save the Children.

The nonprofit supports children in places such as Ukraine, Afghanistan, and the U.S. The school believes that every child is a promise of a better future.
