A Florida federal court ruled that FedEx’s Hispanic part-time handler was not entitled to a trial for his claims of a race-based hostile work environment, and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. The employee claimed that a Black coworker had insulted and disrespected his character, as well as physically threatened him, because he was Hispanic.
