CHENNAI: Syedna Mufaddal, a Dawoodi Bohra community leader, has stated that protecting and preserving the environment is vital. She appealed to the younger generation for their help in keeping their homes and neighborhoods clean.
During his visit, Syedna advised Chennai to remain law-abiding citizens to contribute wholeheartedly to the nation’s development and growth.
Syedna Saifuddin arrived from Colombo on Thursday and was received by P K Sekar Babu, minister of minorities welfare, and HR&CE minister.
Hasan Kapi is the local representative of this community. He said that Syedna was interacting with the community members and asking about their wellbeing during his stay in Chennai. On Saturday, he presided over Rasme Saifee (mass-marriage) at Burhani Masjid.
