FORT ST. JOHN (B.C. After receiving complaints, the B.C. Ministry of Environment stated that they did not find any evidence of illegal dumping of contaminants at the Dawson Road Maintenance site on March 8th.

EnergeticcityA resident anonymously reported that Dawson Road Maintenance was improperly disposing oil and other chemicals.

They take out the shop floor drain catch bowl containing engine oil, hydraulic oils, coolant, and other chemical cleaning agents, and instead of paying for proper disposal they inform the operator of the vactruck to go back into the corner of their yard near the salt shed, beside the city’s septic ponds, and blow out trucks into the ditch.
