Energy & Environment Alliance partners with Optimized Energy to reduce Net Zero carbon by voltage optimisation

Today, Optimized Energy (OE) announced its partnership with the Energy & Environment Alliance (EEA), a non-profit alliance of leaders in the hospitality sector that is developing the most reputable sustainability assessment system for Hotel and Apart Hotel assets. OE is a UK-based green tech company that offers premium voltage optimisation products to commercial real estate, including the hotel and accommodation industries.

OE will advise EEA members about their suitability to Voltage Optimisation (VO) by joining the EEA in its quest for a rigorously scientific and economically sustainable approach to meeting Net Zero Carbon and Environmental, Social and Governance standards (ESG). VO is an engineering-led solution that reduces energy consumption, reduces operational costs, and lowers carbon emissions by up to 2 percent. The OE team has a wealth of electrical engineering and renewable technologies expertise to help EEA members transition towards net zero carbon pathways. This will also improve ESG performance in assets, operations, and assets.

Ufi Ibrahim CEO, EEA said: A high voltage supply from a National Grid in the UK is a common problem causing heat damage and premature degradation of equipment along with up to 19% expensive power wastage. We are thrilled to partner with OE where hotel asset owners will benefit from their expertise on energy wastage reduction. As energy prices continue to rise, it is vital that carbon reduction targets are pursued. New legislation, which mandates disclosure in accordance with the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), is also in force.

Deborah Faulkner, Director of Business Development, OEOptimized Energy shared the EEA’s intention to be a pioneer in innovation, know-how, and best practices in reducing energy consumption for hotels and other accommodation sectors. Voltage optimization has helped thousands reduce their energy consumption in the UK where high voltage can pose a serious and expensive problem. Hoteliers can reap the benefits of VO to immediately lower operational and maintenance expenses. This will help them to remain economically viable in a recovering economy.

Optimized Energy (OE).

Optimized Energy assists its clients in reducing excess energy consumption by voltage optimization. This results in immediate savings on energy bills, with minimal downtime and a rapid payback time of less than two years in most cases. Businesses may be able to save money by using tax allowances to invest in OEs gear in the same financial year.

The electrically engineered equipment will match load requirements to provide optimal power distribution. This prolongs equipment’s life, reduces energy consumption, and reduces carbon dioxide emissions, which saves money and the environment. OE offers the UK-made Eco Max range of voltage optimisers that have been accredited with ISO 9001.2015
