Muscat: A campaign was carried out by the Environment Authority to clean a number of beaches in North Al Batinah Governorate.
“To complement the efforts of the Environment Authority to keep beaches clean of waste, and with the participation of a number of governmental and private agencies, associations, community members and those interested in environmental affairs, the Environment Department in North Al Batinah Governorate organised a campaign to clean the beaches of the wilayats of Saham and Al Khaboura,” the Authority said in a statement.
