Environment Canada expects snowfall of up to 15cm by Wednesday morning

  • Sault Ste. Marie – St. Joseph Island

Hazards:
Total snowfall of 15 cm
Mixture of ice pellets with snow
Reduced visibility caused by snow and blowing.

Timing:
Continue on to Wednesday morning, and onto Tuesday.

Discussion:
Snow and ice pellets will persist through Wednesday morning. The heaviest rain is expected Tuesday morning and Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Be ready to adapt your driving to changing road conditions. Heavy snow can cause visibility to be reduced. The accumulation of snow can make it difficult to navigate surfaces such as roads, walkways, parking lots, and highways.

Tonight continues through Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
