Weather advisory in force for:

  • Barrie – Collingwood – Hillsdale
  • Midland – Coldwater-Orr Lake
  • Orillia – Lagoon City– Washago

Winter weather advisory in effect today

What:
Snowfall amounts local to the area of 5-10 cm is possible.

When: Late in the morning or early in the afternoon

Discussion:
Flurries or snow squalls could develop from a strong, gusty northwest wind off Georgian Bay this morning and this afternoon. Overnight, snow squalls will likely redevelop.

Winter driving conditions can cause serious problems for motorcyclists. Be prepared and adjust your travel plans accordingly. Weather changes can make traveling dangerous. Avoid traveling if you can. If visibility is reduced, turn on your headlights and maintain a safe distance.
