Environment Canada issued an extreme cold warning for the area. 

When factoring in the wind chill, the weather agency says it’ll feel closer to -40 C Monday night (Feb. 21) and similar on Tuesday night. 

The warning covers Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park Edmonton, Redwater, Redwater Bon Accord, Gibbons, Morinville, and Redwater.
