Wind chill values as low as minus 30
Minimum temperatures near minus 20 degrees Celsius.

Wind chill values will hover around minus 30 due to cold temperatures and brisk northwest winds. Today’s wind chill values will be moderated, but they could drop to minus 30 tonight or Friday morning.
Extreme cold puts everyone at high risk
The risks are higher for children and older adults, people with chronic diseases, people who work outdoors, or those without proper shelter.
To stay warm, keep your hands dry
Cover up. Frostbite can form quickly on exposed skin, especially in the face of wind chill.
If it is too cold outside, it is too cold outside for your pet.
You should be looking out for changes in colour on fingers and toes as well as pain, numbness, or swelling. If you feel the need to warm up, go indoors.
