Environment Canada issues wind warnings to P.E.I.

More winter weather is coming to the Islanders, but not as wild as this weekend’s storm.

Environment Canada has issued a wind advisory for all three counties in P.E.I. Monday morning was early

The statement stated, “Strong winds that can cause damage are anticipated.”

Later in the evening, wind will pick up. Maximum gusts from the southeast to 90 km/h are possible.

These winds will also bring warm temperatures Monday afternoon and night.

Forecasters are predicting snow and the possibility of freezing rain that will turn to rain overnight as temperatures rise to 6 C overnight.
