Environment Canada predicts strong winds of up to 80 km/h for Toronto

According to Environment Canada’s special weather statement, strong winds are expected to sweep through Toronto Saturday.

According to the agency, winds will reach speeds of 70 to 80 km/h due to anAlberta Clipper weather system rolling into southern Ontario.

Environment Canada stated that strong northwesterly winds were expected to develop after a cold front passes in the morning.

According to the statement, blowing snow could reduce visibility in certain areas.

According to the agency, “High winds can cause tree branches or objects to break off”

Saturday night will see the winds becoming more calm.
