Environment Canada reports that strong winds gusting up to 80 km/h are expected for Toronto and surrounding areas.

Toronto and the surrounding areas are subject to a special weather advisory. Strong winds are expected into Wednesday night.

Environment Canada predicts that southwesterly winds could reach 70 to 80 km/h due to a cold front moving through southern Ontario. This includes the Peel, Durham, and York regions.

Federal Weather Agency warns of potential power outages, broken tree branch branches, and suggests that loose objects could get tossed by high winds.

Drivers are reminded to be ready for changing road conditions.
