Special weather statement in place for:
- Guelph – Erin – Southern Wellington County
- Kitchener – Cambridge Region of Waterloo
Significant rain is expected today and into the evening.
As a low pressure system approaches, rain will move in from the southwest to midday. The total rainfall is expected to reach 20-30 mm by the time that the rain stops to produce a few showers later in the evening.
Water pooling on roads can be caused by heavy downpours.
Motorists should allow extra time for their destination.
