Strong westerly winds gusting to 70 km/h are possible early this morning due to a cold front moving through the region. Wind gusts are expected to reach 50 km/h in southwesterly or westerly winds for the remainder of today. The winds will ease gradually through the evening.

Tree damage may be easier when there are strong winds and saturated ground conditions.
