Environment Canada says seasonal temperatures on the way - Kelowna News

It’s time to get warm!

Environment Canada predicts that the Okanagan will experience mixed weather this week with temperatures rising to the seasonal average by Friday.

“We will see a significant improvement in temperatures towards end of week. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and beyond will see daytime temperatures rise to the mid-teens. Overnight lows will be around 4 C. That seems very warm. But it is funny, because normals for this period of year are at 16 C. So it just shows how cool Canada has been,” said Environment Canada’s Dave Wray.

Monday will have scattered showers for most of the day, with a high temperature of 10 C.

Tuesday will be sunny with a high of 11 C.

Wednesday will see more sun with a high of 13 C.

Thursday will see a high of 14 C, with scattered showers.

Friday and Saturday will feel warm.

Environment Canada forecasts a high temperature of 17 C on both days and a mixture of sun and clouds.
