Environmental activists to gather at Kingston Point Park on Sunday – Daily Freeman

KINGSTON, N.Y. Climate and environmental activists will gather at Kingston Point Park along the Hudson River on Sunday, April 3, for a multi-faith family gathering “in awareness of the environment, its marvelous nature, and its disruption,” according to organizers.

The event will take places between 2 and 4 p.m. It will begin with a one-hour experiential activity for young people called “Explore Outside Your Door,” which is designed to connect children with nature and animals.

At 3 p.m., all the attendees are invited to gather in a multi-faith celebration called “Climate Action Outside Your Door” in recognition of the interconnected relationship of all things. This will be followed by a collective commitment to take meaningful actions in order to mitigate climate disruption.

GreenFaith is promoting the Sacred Season for Climate Justice worldwide, March 17 through May 8.
