Ferne Cotton, Jake Humphrey and others have called their former workplace CBBC “aggressive” and “catty”, claiming that there was a battle between egos at the children’s broadcaster.
Ferne, 40, was a television presenter who appeared on the channel and its related programmes starting in 2001. She then left to present Top of the Pops 2004. Ferne claimed that the environment left her feeling’very unhappy.
According toThe SunJake, 43, began hosting CBBC’s podcasts in 2001. He said that CBBC was “probably the most competitive, aggressive, and kind of catty place.”

She replied, “I used to stay away from it.” It was too scary.
Looking back: Jake, now 43, is a sports presenter. Jake, 43, said that CBBC was the most competitive and aggressive place and was also the most catty.

Ferne posted on Instagram Saturday to wish all her followers a Happy New Years.
The star encouraged her followers not too much pressure with their resolutions 2022. Instead, she suggested that they simply need to show themselves love and self-love.
She wrote, “New year, same old you.” I don’t need improvement. You don’t need to improve.
