Get creative with fabric scraps to help save CO2 and promote circular economy. This is the unusual business model used by the Thai startup. Moreloop. Its founders joined forces five years ago with a vision to make the clothing industry more sustainable.
So far, the company says it has saved 500 tons of carbon dioxide by not producing new fabric and has won numerous prizes for its work.
Designers and business customers can find surplus fabric from textile factories online at moreloop. Moreloop is used by around 150 customers to sell excess fabric from 70 textile companies in Thailand.
The startup also sells its own products made from excess fabric, including corona facemasks, work and sportswear. With its business model, it hopes to promote the circular economy.
